01. Free Museum Days
Another option to get out of the house but still stay indoors - most Museums offer free admission every Thursday. Another top pick for getting out while staying indoors and air conditioned.
At the Houston Museum of Natural Science, you can see the ever-so-popular exhibit Body Worlds & The Cycle of Life or you can let the kids get a hands on experience at the Children’s Museum with interactive exhibits including a challenge course, ecostation, and cyberchase!
The Museum District in Downtown Houston is only 20 minutes away from our inner city Spring Branch and Jacquelyn Drive communities.

02. Pleasure Pier
Pleasure Pier is exactly that - built just above the Galveston you’ll find a fully-loaded amusement park packed with rides, games, and carnival food. Just remember to pack some sunscreen!
Get your adrenaline pumping on rides like the Iron Shark with a 100-ft vertical drop or take a cruise around the carousel a couple of times. Even more, there’s a 5D theater across the street with two showings available!
If you live in our Cobblestone or Marlow Lake communities, you’re in luck! Pleasure pier is just 30 minutes away by car.

03. Shop ‘Til You Drop
Another option nearest to our inner city communities Spring Branch and Jacquelyn Drive the Galleria, City Centre, and Memorial City Mall have some of the best shopping and dining in all of Texas. Don’t forget your credit card!
But of course a Houston mall is much more than just a place to shop - you can find great dining and outdoor family activities at all three locations! We recommend ending your shopping spree with dinner and a movie at Studio Movie Grill in City Centre.

04. Space Center Houston
Houston, we have a problem - if you haven’t visited Space Center Houston yet, add it to the Summer 2021 bucket list! With one-of-a-kind exhibits and interactive experiences, this is a great indoor option to escape those extra hot Houston days.
This summer they have an interactive exhibit that dives into the world of extreme sports and the science behind them — also detailing how similar the training and preparations are for astronauts in comparison to these extreme-sport athletes!
Located less than a 30 minute drive away from our South Houston South Meadow Place and Marlow Lake communities.
05. Take Advantage of Community Amenities
